5th Call for Proposals of the ICT-Asia Regional Program

  • Grid, high performance computing
  • Robotics and cognitive science
  • Network infrastructure
  • ICT and health
  • Semantic web and new generation Internet content, interactive Digital Media
  • ICT and Environmental protection
  • Context awareness and modeling

Both the text of the call and the application form are available in English and French language. We look forward to receiving your proposals. Share Info: Language Grid

Apa itu Language Grid? Language Grid adalah satu project inisiatif di Jepang untuk membangun platform untuk memfasilitasi kerjasama antar bahasa, antar kultur yang berbeda melalui fasilitas IT, Internet dan tentunya didukung oleh fasilitas translasi bahasa secara online.

Selasa minggu lalu, kami (Sekolah Teknik Elektro dan Informatika ITB) kedatangan tamu dari Jepang untuk memperkenalkan project tersebut dan tentunya mengajak kami untuk bergabung dalam project tersebut. Saya pikir, ide yang bagus untuk bergabung dalam project tersebut. Saya pribadi menyatakan kesediaan untuk turut serta bergabung dalam project tersebut, sehingga Bahasa Indonesia menjadi bagian dari berbagai bahasa dunia yang ada dalam project tersebut. Salah satu pertanyaan yang diajukan dalam pertemuan tersebut adalah masalah peluang melakukan penelitian di bidang itu dalam rangka S2 atau S3. Prof. Toru Ishida (Kyoto University) yang memimpin rombongan tersebut mengatakan bahwa banyak peluang topik penelitian yang dapat digali dari project tersebut. Menarik sekali, di masa yang akan datang, chating, blogging dan pertukaran informasi apapun akan dapat dilakukan dengan mudah, walaupun kita menggunakan bahasa yang berbeda-beda.
